THE FASTEST WAY TO DEFROST YOUR CAR WINDOWS

26.01.2021

Low temperatures, snow and precipitation can cause many problems and breakdowns on the car. One of the embarrassing situations due to low temperatures and snowfall is dealing with the frozen doors, lock and windows on the car. To avoid this happening, react in time and prevent the occurrence of an unwanted situation with a few moves and tips.

1. If you have a choice, park the car with the front facing east. The sun’s rays will slowly melt the ice on the windshield.

2. Alcohol and soap help. Using these two ingredients, make a glass defrosting liquid and spray on the icy surface in the morning. Mix a liter of alcohol, 1 teaspoon of dish detergent and a deciliter of water in a spray bottle. 3. Inject the WD40 into the locks to prevent them from freezing overnight.

4. Protect your door from morning ice easily. All you have to do is coat the gum in the evening with some fat like glycerin, vaseline, edible vegetable oil and the like. The next morning you will open the door without a problem.

5. Towel socks. It may sound a little strange, but this is a very effective way of protection.

 6. Slide the plastic bags onto the mirrors to prevent them from freezing.

 7. You can put cardboard on the glass, which is a great way to protect against ice. An old towel can also be used as a replacement for cardboard.

ATTENTION! Never sprinkle iced glass with hot water as it may crack. What you can do is apply lukewarm water to the glass with a cloth.
